Job summary

Legends Global in Denver is seeking a Concessions Stand Lead to manage the operation of assigned concession stands on event days. You will train and supervise stand staff, coordinate duties, and ensure smooth service from opening to closing.

This is a part-time, seasonal, union position (Local 23) scheduled by seniority. You must be 18+, fluent in English, capable of lifting 10–50 pounds, and able to work event nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have prior food service or stand attendant experience.
• Ability to interact with coworkers to maintain service standards.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced team setting.
• Fluent English communication is required.
• Ability to obtain TEAM Coalition Alcohol Management certification.
• Lift and carry 10–50 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, in stairs/ramps.
• Able to work all venue events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to perform production tasks including bending, kneeling, and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate stand workers; assign duties within the stand.
• Analyze and resolve problems with supervisor support.
• Oversee stand setup and closing procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked workstations and storerooms; order stock as needed.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Verify opening/closing inventory and product transfers for events.
• Ensure accurate transaction totals for cashiers on a random basis.
• Maintain a high-quality appearance of the concession location.
• Assist with closing duties and stock organization for the next event.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

The Concessions Stand Lead is responsible for the complete operation of assigned concession stands on event days. Trains personnel, supervises and directs the work activities of others. Concessions Stand Leads report directly to the Concessions Supervisor of the assigned stand.

• Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers. Assigns duties within the stand
• Analyzes and resolves all problems with the assistance of Concession Supervisor and/or other management
• Oversees and/or participates in stand set-up and closing procedures
• Ensures that all workstations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked. Order replacement stock as necessary
• Efficiently and accurately completes required paperwork
• On an event basis, ensures accuracy of opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and meals
• Ensures accurate transaction totals on a random basis for all cashiers
• Keeps a quality appearance of the concession location at all times
• At closing, works with other stand personnel to properly clean equipment and organize stock for next event
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

May need to work as a cashier due to high customer flow.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience as a stand attendant or other food service worker
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards
• Must be able to handle inventory efficiently and the ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to obtain and maintain TEAM Coalition Alcohol Management certification
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
• Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, moping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
• Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
