Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Concessions Manager for the 2nd shift at Ball Arena in Denver, CO. You will lead day-to-day concessions operations, ensuring high quality service, profitability, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising scheduling, weekly payroll, inventory, budgeting and P&L, and coordinating with contractors to meet contracts. You will mentor staff and uphold Legends standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of management experience in high-volume foodservice, preferably concessions at a sports/entertainment venue.
• Degree or equivalent in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff and major projects or initiatives.
• Customer service mindset with professional interaction with employees, vendors, clients, and guests.

• Oversee inventory management and monthly inventory counts, prefer Yellow Dog system.
• Supervise Scheduling Supervisor team members and complete weekly payroll and tip entry.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including alcohol sales.
• Manage budgets, monthly P&L, and financial reporting; monitor labor and operating costs.
• Lead and mentor concessions staff, align with the business plan and Legends standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Under the leadership of the Senior Concessions Manager, the Concessions Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the Concessions operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)

• Provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment; create a working relationship with local health officials
• Monthly inventory for concession's operation, experience with Yellow Dog or other inventory management systems preferred
• Oversee Scheduling Supervisor team members
• Complete weekly department payroll & enter tips
• Ensure unit compliance with federal, state, local, and legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol
• Maintain management staff and ensure proper hiring promoting of associates per Legends standards
• Work closely with multiple subcontractors to ensure all needs are met, and the terms of the contract are followed
• Preserving existing programs and developing new concepts to ensure the highest possible quality of food and service
• Responsible for operational budget, managing monthly P&L statements and ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to a staff, responsible for executing the concessions team business plan
• Sustain cost as it pertains to labor and operating supplies, work within budgeted guidelines
• Union Experience preferred
• Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities are required

WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)

• The ideal candidate will have a degree with a minimum of 2-5 years' management experience in the high volume foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue
• Union experience strongly preferred
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
• Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
• Customer service oriented mindset with the ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives and guests in a positive and professional
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to obtain and maintain TEAM Coalition Alcohol Certification
• Experience with ABI, Yellowdog, UKG/UltiPro preferred

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $64,000 - $68,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Legends Global offers a competitive total rewards package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
