Position Summary

The Concessions In-Seat Server will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00 plus tips.

This position will remain open until May 30, 2025.

About the Venue

Polar Park is a baseball park in Worcester, Massachusetts, serving as the home of the Worcester Red Sox, a Minor League Baseball team competing at the Triple-A level and an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
• Provide quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to guests and communicate clearly with all customers.
• Ensure that food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
• Ensure neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over.
• Maintain availability to work throughout the baseball season.
• Respond promptly to customer desires and requests.
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance.
• Communicate effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related Food Service Job Experience required.
• Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests to foster a positive work environment.
