Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a Concessions Cook to support fast-paced food production, prep meats, seafood, vegetables, and ensure kitchen sanitation and adherence to recipes. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver high quality guest experiences.

The role emphasizes leadership within the kitchen, following standard recipe cards, and maintaining equipment and standards while supporting associates and promoting a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a high-volume restaurant/food/concessions kitchen preferred.
• Experience with food management systems is helpful.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking.
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows closing checklists for stations.
• Uses Standard Recipe Cards for consistency; relies on recipes not memory.
• Keeps equipment clean and in good working order per maintenance programs.
• Ensures food is prepared and served according to recipes, portions, timing and presentation standards.
