Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Concessions Worker to support event operations in its venues. You will clean and prep food areas, cook and package items, and maintain high standards of sanitation while delivering high quality products.

You must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, follow safety rules, and be able to work at multiple ASM Global venues in Wichita and Andover. A High School Diploma or GED and strong English are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
• Cook and package batches of food, such as burgers, chicken tenders, fries, hotdogs, and prepared BBQ meats.
• Deliver high quality products.
• Keep food spoilage below minimum.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, each stand must be cleaned after each event.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Follow rules and regulations of SAVOR.
• Clean, stock and inventory workstation, checking inventory in and out, and being accountable for all inventories.
• Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance is an essential job function.
• Position requires the ability to work at all ASM Global venues in Wichita and Andover.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Reports to Concessions Manager in appropriate uniform, for assigned location.
• Follows all rules and regulations which apply to SAVOR Food and Beverage Division.
• Develop constructive working relationships with others.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
