Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws and regulations, including serving alcohol responsibly.
• Set up and stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Maintain and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure freshness and quality.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks according to recipes; practice portion control.
• Verify guest identification for legal drinking age.
• Detect and respond to guest intoxication appropriately.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and process payments accurately.
• Secure all beverages, food, equipment, and cash at the end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health standards.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
