Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is seeking a Concessions Attendant to prepare and serve food and beverages while delivering friendly, high-quality guest service. You will help keep a clean, safe environment and support inventory and upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing classic concession items, handling the POS system, and working with the team to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Job Description

As a Concessions Attendant at Es Vedra Cinemas, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to guests. You will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through friendly service, quality products, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service. Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
• Prepare and serve a variety of food items, such as popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and beverages, following established recipes and standards.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process cash and credit card transactions accurately. Ensure proper change is given and receipts are provided.
• Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Notify the Concessions Manager of low stock or replenishment needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, equipment, and dining areas. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure proper food handling and sanitation.
• Restock concession stands with necessary supplies and products throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and handling of food items.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education & Experience

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
• Some locations may require Food Handler and State Alcohol Certifications

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motion
