Join us for the Concession Worker - Part-time - Rhode Island Convention Center & Amica Mutual Pavilion role at Oak View Group.

Position Overview:

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items, including beverages, ensuring quality and presentation. Responsibilities include operating a cash register, handling payments, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards. Must be able to serve alcohol responsibly, checking IDs as required.

Pay Range: $18.00/hr

Location: Downtown Providence at the Rhode Island Convention Center, offering extensive event and meeting spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cash register sales and complete transactions.
• Build orders, prepare food, and manage concessions operations.
• Maintain stock levels and communicate low stock to management.
• Respond to customer requests and concerns.
• Keep workspace clean and organized, dispose of garbage, and wash dishes.
• Serve beverages responsibly, verify guest IDs for alcohol service.
• Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in food service and cash handling preferred.
• Ability to learn cash register operation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude.
• TIPS and Food Handlers Certifications required.
