FMC Ice Sports is seeking a Concession Supervisor for on-site management of concession stands in Hopedale and Franklin, MA. You will oversee cashiers, cooking and prep areas, maintenance, safety, and alcohol service where allowed.

The role requires supervising staff, managing schedules, and ensuring food safety while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced arena environment. This is a part-time seasonal position with competitive hourly pay.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Serve Safe Certified or willingness to become certified.
• Previous experience in food handling, sanitation, and customer service is preferred.

Description

Facility Management Corporation, known as “FMC Ice Sports,” was formed in 1992 to deliver high quality ice sport facility management and operations, as well as ice-based programs that benefit our communities and promote interest in both hockey and skating. We have established a record of quality operations and have grown to be the largest operator of public arenas in the United States. FMC operates 25 public ice-skating arenas across the state of Massachusetts in partnership agreements with the Commonwealth and various municipalities as well as educational institutions.

As the Concession Supervisor you will be responsible for running the on-site operations of our concession stands in Hopedale and Franklin, including the cashiers, cooking and prep areas. You will oversee stands cleanliness/neatness, product quality, inventory, customer service, stand safety, food safety, and alcohol service (where applicable). Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event-based schedule.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of concession stands, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet customer demand; work with the General Manager to continuously improve these procedures.
• In coordination with the General Manager, recruit, hire, and train concession stand staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operation hours.
• Monitor and enforce food safety and sanitation standards, following health department regulations and FMC Standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with management to develop promotional strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Serve Safe Certified or willingness to become certified.
• Previous experience in food handling, sanitation, and customer service is preferred.
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-orientated environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
• Ability to adapt to new procedures and work as a team to improve efficiency and quality of the concession stands.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food service environment is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Part-time Seasonal Position

Compensation:

Base pay range: $18 - $20 per hour. Starting rate is based upon the concessions "level" of operation. Eligible for annual increase of 2% - 4% based upon performance.
