Job summary

Entarian seeks a highly experienced Training Developer specializing in COMSEC to design and update training curricula for Type 1 cryptographic equipment and KMI. You will translate complex concepts into clear training for military personnel, work with vendors and stakeholders as SME, and ensure alignment with NSA/DoD directives.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, DoD directives adherence, and frequent coordination across government teams. Based in Augusta, GA, with travel up to 40% annually.

Qualifications

• BA degree or 12–15 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with the Experiential Learning Model (ELM).
• Experience developing TSPs for the US Armed Forces.
• Extensive experience with Type 1 cryptographic devices and KMI.
• DoD 8570.1-M compliance (e.g., Security+).
• Army Instructor Basic Instructor Course equivalent.
• Prior COMSEC Custodian or Alternate Custodian experience.
• Must be able to travel at least 40% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain COMSEC training courses, POI, and lesson plans.
• Create realistic COMSEC training scenarios for classroom and simulation environments.
• Support technical publication validation and LD process development.
• Collaborate with COMSEC Managers to reflect current TTPs in training materials.
• Determine learning strategies to meet soldier learning needs.
• Design eLearning modules, job aids, and instructor materials using adult learning principles.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness for NSA/DoD directives.
