Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Security Specialist II (COMSEC) to support a customer in Crane, IN. This in-person role requires the ability to acquire verifications, coordinate ship/receiving processes, and maintain COMSEC shipments daily, with a focus on security classifications and proper documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of experience or training in security procedures and instruction interpretation.
• Knowledge of security classification, eligibility for access to classified information, and personnel security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Acquire address verifications from the distant end and coordinate shipment processes.
• Prepare shipments daily and work with Local Element to coordinate drop-off/pickup.
• Create and process naval messages for release and update incoming/outgoing gear daily.
• Coordinate with LE on shipping addresses, times of operation, and points of contact.
• Demilitarize obsolete gear per procedures and transport COMSEC shipments to destinations.
• Assist with inspections, self-assessments, and collect metrics for the COMSEC office.
