Job summary

Seneca Global Services, LLC seeks a Crypto Officer to join the Huntsville-based team supporting the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). The role safeguards COMSEC equipment and materials, ensures compliance with stringent cryptographic requirements, and coordinates with logistics, security, and network personnel to support secure communications.

The position is on-site in a SCIF, with travel up to 25% and opportunities for professional development within DoD cyber operations.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in COMSEC, secure communications, or cryptographic management.
• Proficiency with DMVPN, MACsec, MPLS.
• Familiarity with NSA-approved encryption devices and COMSEC procedures.
• Ability to work on-site daily in a SCIF.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage, safeguard, and maintain inventory of COMSEC equipment and cryptographic keys.
• Operate NSA-approved encryption devices and troubleshoot issues.
• Respond to Emergency Directives affecting cryptographic devices.
• Ensure compliance with COMSEC regulations and procedures.
• Conduct inventories, audits, and maintain records.
• Provide COMSEC training and briefings to personnel.
• Develop and deliver training for COMSEC and network security.
• Assist in Implementation Plans and Desktop Procedures.
• Handle, safeguard, and destroy COMSEC keys and classified material.
• Prepare COMSEC reports for leadership.
• Support incident response for suspected compromise.
• Ensure physical security of COMSEC assets in secure facilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for secure communications.
