Qualifications

• Licensure: BLS Provider, Radiologic Technologist credential from IEMA.
• Certification: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) Certification preferred.
• Experience in computerized tomographic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures for diagnosis according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, select technical parameters accurately.
• Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormalities.

Computerized Tomography Technologist-CT Tech

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Facility: Saint Alexius Medical Center

Schedule: Mid-shift with a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends

Salary: $33.44 - $50.16 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000.00

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosis according to protocols established by radiologists.
• Prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedures and report abnormalities.
• Monitor protocols and suggest updates as needed.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider, Radiologic Technologist credential from IEMA, and one or more of the following: NMTCB(CT) Certification, ARRT(CT) Certification, or ARRT Radiography with CT specialization.

Education

• High School diploma with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
