Areté seeks a Computer Vision Scientist to develop algorithms for image processing, 3D reconstruction, and scene understanding. You will adapt libraries, evaluate performance, and prototype vision methods using Python, delivering high-quality visuals and technical briefs from Falls Church, VA.

The role requires strong research background, CSAI proficiency, and the ability to interface with customers and colleagues across teams. This is a full-time on-site position in Falls Church.

Formación

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Proficient in Python and common numerical and image processing packages.
• Familiarity with modern Computer Vision algorithms and frameworks.
• Related machine learning concepts and applications.
• Research experience related to image processing, computer vision, or sensor data.
• Ability to learn and apply programming tools and software packages as needed.
• Intellectual curiosity and desire for continuous learning.
• Skilled and innovative problem solver.
• Comfortable interfacing with co-workers and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Develop algorithms, datasets, and workflows for image processing and object detection.
• Evaluate algorithm performance and quantify strengths/weaknesses with metrics.
• Prototype emerging computer vision algorithms using Python and related tools.
• Prepare graphics and technical briefings for presentation to stakeholders.
