Job summary

Jobot in Herndon, VA is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain novel vision systems for a robotic application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in computer vision or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV.
• Experience with image processing techniques and 3D computer graphics.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical foundations behind computer vision algorithms.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing computer vision algorithms in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
