Job summary

Job Title: Support Technician Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Director of Technology Support

Pay Grade: 2

Dept. /School: Information Technology

Primary Purpose: The Technology Support Technician provides hardware, software, and technical support to end users within the organization. Support is delivered both on-site and remotely, ensuring efficient and effective technology operations across the district.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited HS or GED Program (required)
• certifications (preferred, e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent)
• College degree (preferred)

• Logical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues

Major Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support
• Collaboration with team members on technology-related projects

Working Conditions
