Computer Systems Administrator/Network Administrator

Torch Technologies is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator/Network Administrator to support the 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron, 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The mission involves electronic warfare support for warfighter systems, developing and testing mission data to counter enemy radar and missile systems, and supporting operational EW testing and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an IT specialist managing and maintaining computer networks, providing technical support, training, and assistance to users.
• Apply hardware and software expertise to establish and maintain IT capabilities in accordance with government policies.
• Act as the first point of contact for resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide technical assistance, diagnose problems, and implement solutions related to computer systems.
• Work in an office setting with sedentary effort; may include lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Perform COMSEC duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma plus 9 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 7 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years relevant experience.
• Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance within 9 months.
• Information assurance certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M may be required.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proficiency with Cisco network principles, equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux/RHEL, peripherals, customer support, documentation, database management, network administration, application development, and telecommunications.

Additional Information:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Security Clearance: Top Secret, SCI-eligible.
• Full-time, 40 hours/week, located at Eglin AFB, FL.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.
• No relocation assistance provided.
