Job summary

Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center in Utah is seeking a Computer Scientist to support discovery, maturation, and insertion of advanced digital solutions for ICBM systems. You will provide technical oversight for government and contractor software efforts, evaluate architectures, and ensure compliance with rigorous ICBM software requirements. Role requires 5+ years in software, strong SDLC/Agile background, and DoD credentialing.

Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a Top-Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant computer science experience.
• Proficiency in SDLC/Agile/Lean in large projects.
• Design/evaluation of large software architectures using UML/SysML.
• Languages: C/C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, C#, Java.
• Low-code environments like Envision/Power BI.
• AI/ML and LLMs knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS clearance.
• DAWIA Practitioner certification requirements.
• DoD 8140.3 DoD Cyberspace workforce qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Design reviews of software architectures and docs; resolve issues with contractors.
• Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders in Agile software delivery.
• Participate in milestones, TIMs, and design reviews as a government software authority.
• Attend meetings and represent the organization professionally.
