J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Virginia is seeking a part-time Computer Science Adjunct to teach courses across the CS curriculum.
This position offers flexible scheduling within the college’s Henrico campus system and opportunities to engage with a diverse student body. Candidates must hold a Master’s in Computer Science or a related Master’s with CS coursework; prior teaching and experience with Java, Python, and foundational CS topics are preferred.

Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Part‑time teaching assignments in Computer Science.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or a Master’s degree with (18) graduate semester hours in Computer Science. In order to be considered for this position, courses taken must be designated Computer Science courses on the official transcript.
Previous teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and the ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students. Experience with JAVA, Python, Computer Organization or Discrete Structures is also preferred. Online course instruction experience and/or training will be beneficial.
