Job summary

KP Staffing Irving is seeking a computer repair technician to diagnose, repair, and refurbish desktops and laptops in a fast-paced production environment in Grapevine, TX. The role includes replacing defective hardware, installing software, and ensuring repairs meet quality standards.

Shifts are multiple, offering a hands-on position with growth opportunities. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience and a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply; A+ certification is a plus and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of computer repair experience preferred.
Experience with desktops and laptops from major brands.
A+ certification (or working toward it) is a plus.
MS Office competence.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail; able to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Motivated to meet quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop computers.
Disassemble and reassemble computer systems and components.
Replace hardware such as LCD screens, hard drives, memory, and other parts.
Install or reinstall operating systems and software as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues within production timelines.
Follow repair procedures and document completed work.
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with other technical tasks as needed
