PA0738 Processing CenterJob DescriptionThe Computer Operator is responsible to operate all equipment in the computer room as well as process all scheduled computer runs and printing/distributing reports.This position is eligible for a shift differential.Essential FunctionsManage personal workload and workflowMaximize technology tools availableProcess schedules / computer runsOperate computer equipment and printers, and forms handling equipmentDistribute reports / special formsMonitor AS400 operation / performanceVerify computer logs and posting totalsUnload/sort computer suppliesIdentify and resolve other department issuesReport problems to management immediatelyMaintain Iron Mountain Tape logs with Securesync and SharePoint, and computer room and operations building securityMonitor incoming and outgoing file transfers with momentumVerify incoming Check 21 Posting and Image (COF) filesReview and publish IstatementsMinimize department nonpayroll costsRecommend improvements to proceduresAttempt to exceed departmental expectationsRecommend technological enhancements/upgrades, and service and delivery enhancementsAdditional Essential FunctionsEnsure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipmentWhat You Bring to the TeamComplete special projects as assignedSafety and Health for those without supervisory dutiesAbide by the rules of the safety and loss prevention programPerform work tasks in a safe mannerReport any and all injuries to supervisorKnow what to do in case of an emergencyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
