RPS Recruitment seeks an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist in California to develop and optimize CNC programs for complex 4 and 5 axis milling and mill turn operations. You will interpret 3D models and drawings, set up machines, and ensure components meet tight quality standards.

Responsibilities include program optimization, first article inspection, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams to meet delivery and performance targets. Mastercam expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models to determine machining requirements and programming approaches.
• Creating and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam for 4 and 5 axis milling machines and mill turn lathes.
• Completing machine setups and first articles while operating CNC equipment when programming demand allows.
