📍 Central Virginia Region (within commuting distance of the Shenandoah Valley)

We are hiring an experienced CNC Machine Setup Operator to support a precision manufacturing facility operating in the Central Virginia region. This role focuses on Swiss-type CNC lathe setups, tooling adjustments, quality checks, and maintaining accuracy on tight-tolerance components.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on machine setup work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working on a steady 4-day schedule.

What You’ll Handle

• Setting up and operating Swiss-type CNC lathes
• Tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
• Quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and indicators
• Reading machining prints and following specifications
• Maintaining consistency and reliability across production runs

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Swiss CNC machines (Star, Citizen etc preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude + ability to hold tight tolerances
• Ability to interpret prints and basic GD&T
• Reliable for onsite work in the Central Virginia area
