Job summary

gpac is seeking a skilled Setup CNC Machinist to join its precision manufacturing team in a role that directly impacts production, quality, and continual improvement. You will set up and troubleshoot CNC machining centers, read blueprints with precision, and work with engineers and production teams to resolve tooling and quality issues, ensuring efficient, repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of CNC setup experience in manufacturing.
• Technical training in CNC machining or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specs.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, offsets, and machine adjustments.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• GD&T experience is a plus.
