Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a CNC Machinist for a contract role in Raymond, OH. Ideal candidates have a solid background in Automotive/Manufacturing and are proficient with CNC and manual mills and lathes, including programming and setup.

The position offers $34–$38/hour, negotiable based on experience and location. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, interpreting GD&T, and programming with offsets, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters for 3- and 5-axis machines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Experience with both CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software (CATIA preferred; Mastercam or GibbsCAM acceptable).
• Ability to program and optimize 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes.
• Program CNC machines: tool offsets, coordinates, speeds and feeds.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes.
• Program CNC machines, including tool offsets, work coordinates, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters.
