Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set Up and operates EDM/CNC machines and related equipment with programs, fixtures, and methods.
• Make edits and adjustments to meet work orders and blueprints.
• Demonstrate knowledge of feeds/speeds and cutting tools.
• Inspect features for dimensional accuracy.
• Ensure quality and quantity per company requirements.
• Complete paperwork for counts, scrap, and time.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and tooling.
• Train and assist other employees as required.
• Collaborate with team to resolve process or system issues.
• Comply with OSHA, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Job Title: CNC Machinists-2nd and 3rd Shifts

2nd Shift(3:30-12 midnight) 3rd shift(11:00-7:30)

Location: Fully Onsite in Greenville, SC

Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $25-27 per hour Plus Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities

• Set Up and operates EDM/CNC machines and other related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Makes all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.
• Inspects work as required for all dimensional features as required.
• Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc.
• Perform duties always exercising good machining practices.
• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
• Trains, guides, and assists other employees as required.
• Taking a proactive approach to solving process or system related problems and coordinating with other team members/departments when necessary for resolution of problems
• Comply with OSHA, health, safety, and environment requirements.
• May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual’s skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment required. Experience with EDM, Makino Fast Hole, or aerospace manufacturing is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong machining fundamentals and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
