Job Title: CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

We are seeking a CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) to become an integral part of our team. This position requires working 2nd shift, with transitions to 1st shift based on seniority, skill set, and company needs.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform parts inspection, hold drawing tolerances, and use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ensure correct material type and size is used.
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on machines.
• Start and monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and adjust controls as needed.
• Set up and operate machines on trial runs to verify settings.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Document actions in production and quality logs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Solve practical problems related to machining processes.

Requirements:

• Pass a drug test and background check.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Minimum 2+ years experience on CNC Lathe and/or Mill machines.
• Experience with HAAS machines and/or Fanuc controls.
• Ability to understand CNC programs is preferred.
• Ability to run multiple machines simultaneously is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and proceed with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work 2nd shift after training on 1st shift.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
