• Calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, gage pins familiarity.
• Knowledge of tooling types: end mills, bullnose, ballnose, chamfer mills, drills.
• Strong attention to detail and good listening skills.
• Understanding of the decimal system.
• Ability to work night shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed operational sequences.
• Operate machines to produce pilot pieces, inspect, check setups, and adjust for variances.
• Work from drawings and specs, setup instructions, and operating procedures.
• Use precision measuring instruments to set up, operate, and inspect work.
• Monitor and improve quality through delivery, conformance, and performance.
• Enter CNC instructions per programmer specs.
• Set up CNC with correct attachments and tooling.
• Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming issues.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and management.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform PMP duties.
• Collect data from blueprints to complete inspection sheets.

• Continually improve and monitor quality through product delivery, conformance, and performance.
• Enter instructions into CNC equipment based on programmer specifications.
• Set up CNC equipment with the correct attachments and tooling to perform required jobs.
• Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines simultaneously.
• Troubleshoot machine programming issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, management, and other team members.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, including performing PMP duties.
• Collect data from blueprints, plans, work orders, and other sources to complete inspection sheets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining.
• Ability to collect data from blueprints, plans, work orders, and other sources to complete inspection sheets.
