Job summary

Onyx Point, LLC. is seeking a senior software engineer to lead design and development of tools and data flows across multiple platforms.

You will author documentation, lead reviews, and contribute to technical presentations for mission-critical systems. Requirements include an active TS/SCI with full-scope poly, US citizenship, and 8+ years in programming (C/C++/Java/Python), with experience in Windows/.NET and UNIX environments, and strong TCP/IP networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum 8 years of programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Minimum 7 years developing Windows apps with Visual Studio/.NET and/or UNIX apps using make files.
• Minimum 6 years with programming CNO tools and techniques, 5 for US Government.
• Minimum 4 years in network sockets programming with IP/TCP knowledge.
• Expert in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals.

Required Skills/Abilities

Provide/author and participate in technical presentations. Minimum 8 years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python. Minimum 7 years of experience developing in Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments and/or UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments. Minimum 6 years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniques, 5 of which were for the US Government. Minimum 4 years in network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs using expert understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols. Expert ability in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals.

Compensation

We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
