Qualifications

• Graduation from high school and three years of experience in the use of computing and information technology resources.
• Minimum of 24 semester credits in any discipline see below). Specific knowledge of the particular software or systems supported may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures teachers know how to use available software and hardware and ensures equipment is working properly.
• Performs disk back-ups, as required.
• Trains users for full utilization of hardware and software.
• Provides timely resolution of computer problems by providing answers or referral.
• Installs new software, and develops applications for users.
• Evaluates hardware and software and makes purchase recommendations.
• Obtains and maintains CDL bus license and drives a bus when called upon to do so.
• Completes the pre-trip and post-trip inspection and maintains bus route schedule.
• Maintains discipline and reports undisciplined students to school administration.
• Discharge students only at authorized stops and transport only authorized students.
• Complies with local and state traffic regulations and observes all mandatory safety regulations.
• Reports delays and accidents.
• Cleans the interior of the bus.
• Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
