The principal role of the Computer Lab Assistant is to answer andassist customers with technical and informational questions. TheComputer Lab Assistant also maintains an atmosphere that isphysically tidy and conducive to academic pursuits while enforcingComputer Lab, Information Technology, and Liberty Universitypolices. The Computer Lab Assistant may also provide classroomsupport to professors and students.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities1. Assist customers with technical and informationalquestions.
2. Provide classroom support to professors and students.
3. Troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues.
4. Log/document work as required.

hereQualifications, Credentials, and Competencies1. Promptness and reliability to follow scheduled hours.
2. Basic computer skills.
3. Experience with Microsoft Office software and standard officetechnologies.
4. Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher.
5. Work Study eligibility for the current semester.
6. Previous customer service experience, preferred.
7. Previous computer troubleshooting experience, preferred.
8. Completion of INFT 110, BUSI 201, or similar technology course,preferred.
