Job summary

Indotronix Avani Group in Wilmington, NC seeks a Computer Field Service Technician to repair laptops and desktops in the metro area. This long-term contract-to-hire role requires a reliable personal vehicle and insurance, with mileage reimbursement.

You will replace drives, motherboards, keyboards, or perform whole unit swaps while closing tickets in real time. 1+ year hands-on repair experience and basic MS applications knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on repair experience with laptops and desktops.
• Computer-building background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software including Microsoft applications.
• Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.

Responsibilities

• Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
• Replace failing components such as hard drives, motherboards and keyboards.
• Perform whole unit swaps and repair or replace PC peripherals.
• Close service tickets in the Call Management system in real time.

Position: Computer Field Service Technician

Duration: long term contract to hire

Pay rate : $26.00/hr on w2 + Mileage

***Must have his/her OWN RELIABLE CAR and CAR INSURANCE***

Weekly Mileage: 250-350 per week

Key Responsibilities:

As a Field/Computer Technician, you will be assigned service requests to repair Laptops and Desktops in the metro area.

Your assignments will include repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards and keyboards.You may also perform whole unit swaps, repair or replace PC peripherals.

Must have reliable transportation as this role services the metro and surrounding areas.

Close service tickets in real time in the Call Management system using Company provide phone.

Key Qualifications:

1+ Years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix

Computer-building background experience preferred

General knowledge of laptop / desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications

Ability to resolve basic / non-complex problems as directed.
