Cochran is seeking a Civil CAD technician to join our team in Missouri. You will draft drawings using CAD and Civil 3D, creating plans for structures and installations, and producing maps and profiles from surveys.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings using CAD systems and Civil 3D for structures and installations.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for construction projects.
• Draw maps and profiles from surveys and topographic data.
• Review engineering data to conform drawings to design concepts.
• Provide drafting support to Engineers and Surveyors.
• Assist with finishing and packaging documentation for reproduction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Must have an understanding of Civil CAD-based drafting procedures.
• Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD), Civil 3D software
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction various projects
• Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, and structures
• Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports
• Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, photography, or other duplicating methods
• Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Civil Engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts
• Provide Engineers and Surveyors with drafting support
• 2+ years civil or land surveying experience, preferred
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, Microsoft Office
