Job summary

Cochran is a growing civil engineering firm with 7 Missouri offices seeking a Survey CAD Drafter/Designer to join our team in Union, Missouri.

You will create precise drawings in CAD/Civil 3D, collaborate with engineers, and help turn survey data into buildable plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance from design through project completion.

This role requires 2–5 years of civil or land surveying experience and a two-year design/drafting degree, plus proficiency with Civil 3D and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years civil or land surveying experience.
• Two-year design/drafting degree required.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings using CAD and Civil 3D software.
• Draft plans for structures, installations, and construction projects.
• Interpret topographic surveys and geophysical data for drafting.
• Review engineers' sketches and specs for design conformance.
• Provide drafting support to engineers and surveyors.
• Finish and duplicate drawings for reproduction and documentation.
