Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks an experienced CAD Manager to lead a team of CAD professionals and drive excellence in configuration management, drafting, and documentation processes within a fast-paced energy solutions environment.

You will oversee CAD activities for complex rotating equipment, ensure compliance with standards, and mentor team members while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAD and configuration management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proficiency with Creo, SolidWorks, and Windchill PLM/PDM systems.
• Strong knowledge of BOM management and engineering change processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship).
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate CAD activities for complex rotating equipment.

• Ensure all CAD designs comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) to align with engineering specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards.
• Support Engineering Change Requests and Notices (ECRNs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from creation through execution.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to CAD team members.
