Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support the design, development, and documentation of aerospace, defense, and mission-critical systems. You will create and maintain drawings, models, layouts, and technical documents in collaboration with engineers and manufacturing teams.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility and 4+ years of CAD drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or MicroStation.

Qualifications

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafters to support the design, development, and documentation of advanced aerospace, defense, and mission-critical systems. The selected candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, manufacturing personnel, and program stakeholders to create and maintain accurate engineering drawings, models, layouts, and technical documentation supporting product development and production activities.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative programs impacting national security while working alongside a highly collaborative engineering team.

Minimum job requirements include:

• The Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
• 4+ years of CAD Drafting experience
• Proficiency in one or more of the following - AutoCAD, Solidworks, CATIA, Creo, or Microstation
• Experience creating and modifying engineering drawings and assemblies.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and documentation practices.

Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this role so exact pay will vary based on experience, depth of knowledge, industry experience among other factors. However we anticipate paying 80 - 110K for these roles.
