Job summary

Insight Global is seeking two Senior Mechanical Drafters to support an aerospace/defense client in the Greater Tampa Bay area. You will translate engineering designs into CAD models and produce production-ready drawings for manufacturing.

SMEs in GD&T and ASME Y14.5 are required. Proficiency with SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX and a valid security clearance are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanical drafting experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, CATIA or NX in aerospace/defense.
• Secret security clearance required.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5

Insight Global is looking for 2 Sr Mechanical Drafters to support their aerospace and defense customer in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for taking engineering design and translating them into CAD models. They will be creating production ready drawings and modifying legacy drawings. The ideal candidate is a SME in GD&T and ASME to determine tolerances and apply requirements to engineering drawings.

Skills and Requirements

6+ years of experience in mechanical drafting using SolidWorks or CATIA or NX. Experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Minimum of a secret security clearance. Experience with GD&T and ASME Y14.5
