Job summary

OPEX Corporation in Moorestown, NJ is seeking an Electronic CAD Designer to create and maintain PCB layouts and related documentation. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers while ensuring DRC compliance and manufacturability.

Responsibilities include developing PCB layouts, generating documentation, and maintaining libraries for smooth prototype builds and production releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in PCB layout and routing.
• Familiarity with ECAD software and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of GD&T and BOM management.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) is preferred.
• Office-based with occasional production floor observation.

Electronic CAD Designer, DMA (Document and Mail Automation)

An Electronic CAD (ECAD) Designer is a professional who creates and maintains electronic and electrical designs using specialized Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts.
• Generate manufacturing and assembly documentation.
• Maintain component libraries and design databases.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
• Perform design rule checks (DRC) and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support prototype builds and production releases.

• Cadence OrCAD / Allegro
• Autodesk Eagle
• KiCad
• Mentor Graphics PADS / Xpedition

Key Skills

• 5+ years’ experience developing PCB layout and routing
