Job summary

RN.com is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform cross-sectional imaging for diagnostic purposes. The role includes general radiography and fluoroscopy as part of imaging procedures.

Preferred qualifications include an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification. Candidates must have CA licensure or be eligible, with BLS and fluoroscopy licensing considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

• Radiologic Tech in the state of practice: CA required.
• Advanced CT certification: required in OR and HI; CA preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification: required.
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: CA preferred.
• Venipuncture certification: preferred in CA and OR.

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Associates degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required

Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA

Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA

Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR

Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
