Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Computed Tomography Technologist in Florida to support patient care, imaging procedures, and collaboration with physicians.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program, hold Florida Radiography licensure or ARRT CT registry, and have CT experience; credentialing support may be available. Licensure or registry eligibility should be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• Florida DOH Radiographer license or ARRT CT registry, or eligible and to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Determine most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed.
• Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures.
• Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
• Follow infection control measures and CT department specifics.
• Complete required documentation after each case.

Full-Time Computed Tomography Technologist position with responsibilities focused on patient care, imaging procedures, and collaboration with physicians and imaging staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Determine most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed
• Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures
• Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures
• Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department
• Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
• One year of experience in performing CT preferred
• Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire
• WILL CONSIDER A SEASONED X-RAY TECH TO TRAIN TO CT TECH- MIN SALARY
