Sanford Health in Eau Claire, WI seeks a CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans and ensure high-quality imaging. You will apply professional judgment, care for patients, and adhere to radiology protocols while utilizing new CT technology.

Responsibilities include performing radiology procedures, mobile imaging and EKG/DEXA as appropriate, with on-call rotation possible. ARRT certification is required, CT certification preferred, and BLS is required within six weeks of employment.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training.
• ARRT certification is required at hire.
• CT certification within two years is preferred under DICOE/ACR rules.
• State licensure or permits as required: ND/SD/IA.

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and adhere to general radiology protocols.
• May perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.
• Work with patients of all ages and maintain professional patient care.

Job Summary

Performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images. Produces quality computed tomography exam images and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides for patient care and initiates life support measures as necessary. Interacts effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff, and healthcare workers. Possesses the skills and knowledge to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans and to perform related procedures and protocols. Has the ability to learn and utilize new technology and to orient new employees. Obtains information from patients or their responsible parties to further improve personalized treatment and care.

Schedule

Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts (typical start time between 6:30 am and 8:30 am with some flexibility).

Job Schedule: Full time — 36 hours per week.

Salary Range: $30.60 – $46.50 per hour.

Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 may be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and adhere to general radiology protocols.
• May perform mobile imaging, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitor placement, and dual energy X‑ray absorptiometry (DEXA) procedures.
• On a continuum, develop an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status; work well with all age groups.
• Sanford Rural Network Facilities may expand responsibilities to include on‑call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) accredited program.
• Computerized Tomography (CT) training or experience preferred.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required at the time of hire.
• CT certification obtained within two years is preferred under Per Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) and American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation requirements.
• State licensure or permits as required:
  • North Dakota – licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board.
  • South Dakota (SD) – CT certification required within 24 months of hire.
  • Iowa – permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and I.V. certification within six weeks of employment and re‑certification as necessary.
