Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a senior ML scientist to apply, evaluate, and validate computational pathology approaches and imaging analytics for histopathology endpoints and spatial analyses. You will curate large imaging datasets, train deep learning models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design analytic strategies.

Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB and libraries like PyTorch, Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, OpenSlide, OpenCV, MONAI, and Elastix is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Advanced degree in quantitative disciplines is preferred.
• Publication record in deep learning/ML/statistics, especially digital pathology.

Responsibilities

• Apply, evaluate, and validate computational pathology approaches and imaging analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to design analytic strategies.
• Curate and prepare large imaging datasets and train models.
• Improve imaging data management and workflows.
• Communicate findings via reports, presentations, and publications.
• Lead assigned projects from planning through delivery.
