Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or similar field is required.
  • Four years of lab/research experience in neuroscience and/or biomechanics are required.

Responsibilities

  • Produce novel computational models of biological systems using MuJoCo, MJX, Blender.
  • Apply machine learning and data science expertise (Python, optimization, RL).
  • Design research questions and review literature on Drosophila biomechanics and neuroscience.
  • Prepare manuscripts and figures for publication.
  • Review code and document integrations with team members.
  • Collaborate with diverse team members to support stakeholder needs.
  • Mentor and support lab meeting organization.
