Qualifications

• Experience in developing computational models, decision-support systems, and web-based tools for hydrologic, hydraulic, watershed, water quality, and environmental management.
• Proficiency in scientific programming (FORTRAN, C++, Python, R) and software development for environmental and geospatial applications.
• Experience with GIS, remote sensing, spatial databases, and web-based geospatial technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop computational models, software tools, and web-based decision support systems for agricultural watershed processes and related areas.
• Develop and maintain scientific software, geospatial applications, databases, and computational workflows (FORTRAN, C++, Python, R).
• Design and maintain geospatial databases, web mapping apps, and cloud- or cluster-based infrastructure to support modeling and visualization.
• Lead external research grant proposal development and collaborate on publications and conference presentations.
