Qualifications

• Experience in developing computational models and decision-support systems for environmental applications.
• Experience in scientific programming and software development for geospatial workflows.
• Experience with GIS, remote sensing, and spatial databases for environmental data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop computational models, software tools, and web-based decision support systems for watershed processes and water quality.
• Develop and maintain scientific software, geospatial applications, databases, and workflows using FORTRAN, C++, Python, and R.
• Design, develop, and maintain geospatial databases, web-mapping apps, and cloud- or cluster-based infrastructure.
• Manage large environmental datasets using GIS, remote sensing, and geospatial analysis tools.
• Support HPC and Linux-based research computing environments and automation workflows.
• Contribute to external research grant proposal development and scholarly publications.
