General description
The Cloud and Analytics Section in the Information Technology Division is seeking a Business Intelligence Administrator to serve as the technical and functional lead for the planning, configuration, security, maintenance, enhancement, and operational support of reporting, semantic layer, and analytics capabilities. This role includes responsibility for administering and supporting SAP Business Objects as a core enterprise reporting platform. Work will involve analyzing enterprise reporting requirements, data access needs, system performance, and business processes to recommend and implement secure, reliable, and scalable reporting solutions. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for the Business Intelligence application architecture, including SAP Business Objects administration, upgrades, integrations, governance, and support activities. The role requires close coordination with data warehouse, database, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams, as well as vendors and business stakeholders. This position is part of a team of people who are open-minded and collaborative, adaptable, dedicated to their craft and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You would be a great fit for this role if you are self-motivated, resourceful, can deliver results to spec and work well with a team.
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40-hour week, Monday ¿ Friday. May occasionally work evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Application support activities periodically require on-call responsibilities or work during non-standard hours. Hours may change based on business needs.
Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, data analytics, or related field
One (1) additional year of the full-time experience in systems analysis, business intelligence, reporting platform administration, enterprise application support, data warehousing may substitute for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education with a maximum of 120 semester hours (four years)
