Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Norfolk is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair air compressors and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and communicate findings to customers while maintaining a professional, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience servicing rotary screw, oil-free and/or oil-flooded air compressors.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills needed.
• Self-starter with organized work habits and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
