Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Compressor Technician to support compression and process equipment across oil & gas facilities in Texas. This hands-on field position keeps natural gas equipment operating safely and reliably.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment upgrades, with travel to customer locations throughout the territory.

Qualifications

• Previous natural gas compressor or oil & gas field service experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with compressors, engines, rotating equipment, or gas processing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and control systems.
• Comfortable reading P&IDs and equipment schematics.
• Experience with VRUs, vapor combustion equipment, flares, or similar process equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in outdoor field environments.
• Technical or mechanical training is preferred.

• Complete service documentation and communicate equipment conditions to customers and internal teams.
• Follow LOTO, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory.
