Overview

The Compressor Rebuild Foreman is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and rebuilding operations of industrial compressors. The role requires a deep understanding of compressor mechanics, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and rebuilding operations of industrial compressors.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Manage a team of technicians and provide necessary training and guidance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot compressor issues to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and rebuilding activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in compressor technology.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively
  • Certifications in relevant safety and technical areas are a plus

  • Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
