Overview
The Compressor Rebuild Foreman is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and rebuilding operations of industrial compressors. The role requires a deep understanding of compressor mechanics, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and rebuilding operations of industrial compressors.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Manage a team of technicians and provide necessary training and guidance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot compressor issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and rebuilding activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in compressor technology.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of compressors, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Certifications in relevant safety and technical areas are a plus

- Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
