Job summary

Kinetik is seeking a Compressor Mechanic IV to safely perform maintenance on equipment in plants and field locations in the Permian basin, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role requires diagnosing problems, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating repairs while following safety protocols.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and planning skills; CAT 3500/3600

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience; CAT 3500 & 3600 experience preferred.
• Valid driver license with safe driving record; good communication and planning skills with computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Report to Maintenance Supervisor and perform safe, preventive maintenance on compressor equipment in plants and field.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul Caterpillar/Waukesha engines, Ariel compressors, and related components.
• Maintain equipment, follow work orders, and document daily activities; participate in safety meetings.
